In his presentation Keith will share with attendees the tips and techniques that make proposal writing bearable, if not fun, and most importantly, consistently successful. From how to make the bid-no bid decision, to tips and techniques on how to respond to Government Requests for Proposals (RFP), the materials covered during this presentation will be applicable to proposals primarily in the public and not-for-profit sectors, with particular focus on how to respond to bids with the federal and other levels of government.

Keith Parker, PMP is the Managing Director and Founder of The Proposal Centre. The Proposal Centre helps companies write proposals that win business from the federal, provincial and municipal governments as well as other public sector institutions such as hospitals, schools and universities.
Keith is a seasoned proposal manager and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over seven years of dedicated experience in all aspects of proposal preparation and solution design. He has helped firms of all sizes, from the smallest of consulting firms to the largest of IT and defense contractors successfully compete. Since leaving IBM Canada Ltd. in 2004 Keith has made several innovations and adaptations to proposal writing best practices that have enabled small and medium sized firms to be successful against larger more established firms for Contracts, Standing Offers, Supply Arrangements, and Vendor of Record contract vehicles. Keith’s structured approach in preparing proposals and responding to Requests for Proposals results in the development of reusable materials that enable companies to effectively manage their proposal development processes and most importantly increase their business success.
